Review: Natasha Denona Gold Palette
Updated: Dec 12, 2021
Natasha Denona makes the most beautiful palettes I’ve ever seen. Ever since she came to Sephora as one of the brands they sell, I have always wanted to get my hands on one of these. I’ve used them countless times on clients in-store, and let me just tell you …WOW. They’re pigmented, they’re buttery, and they are oh so blendable. If I could collaborate with any makeup brand to make a palette, it would be Natasha Denona.
So as you can imagine I had my heart set on all of them but above all of her palettes, I knew I had to one day make her Gold Palette mine. Finally, that glorious day has come. I wanted to just bite the bullet and get this palette while the lockdown was happening, not only because I really loved it, but also because I wanted to reignite my passion for makeup.
I’ve been in the beauty industry for years and I can see my passion dwindling …and the only real culprit for that is me. So, I’m setting aside the time, money, and effort and I’m diving head-on into the deep end with getting that passion back, and what better way to do that, than with the Natasha Denona Gold Palette?
The front of this palette has a beautiful foiled gold packaging with ‘Natasha Denona Gold Palette’ embossed into it. You can also see there are stitches going around the border of its edges (a nice little detail). One of my favorite things about Natasha’s palettes is that when you open them, there is a clear film across the palette with the shade names on them and this film is attached to the palette so you won’t have to worry about the name sheet slipping out. You can also see on the backside of the palette what the names are as well.

Now the foiled shadows are out of this world amazing, but don’t let those matte shades go to waste because they are some of the most pigmented and buttery matte shadows I’ve ever used! I know people are always like, “but I have a million browns, why would I need more brown eyeshadows?!” I’m telling you these have a texture and feel to them that has yet to be matched in my book.
These palettes go for $129.00 (which believe me I know that’s pricey!), but I would definitely say to go for the splurge if you’re a makeup lover and maybe even hold out for Sephora’s 20% off sale that happens twice a year. It will be worth it, my friend! This palette gets 5 stars from me. I highly recommend you try it out.
